So Christmas was fairly good this year, I got lots of fun new stuff.  Like a new desktop, and a digital camcorder.  I also got a breadmaker and a deep fryer.  The girls made out like bandits- Katie got a netbook, and a bunch of little stuff and Kerra got a tv for her room, a dog, and play dough out the wazoo.  As far as family we went to my dad's Xmas eve and had dinner with them and my stepmother's family which ended up being better than I thought.  Then Xmas eve night we went to the in-laws for a late dinner which was fine, but tiring and long.  Xmas morning my mother and my sister and her husband came over and we had waffles.  I got my sister a sweatshirt that says "pig lovin' girl" on it and she was thrilled.  What a dork.  Tomorrow back to the in laws for dinner with the hubby's extended family and the "cousins".  Hope you all had a great holiday!

Charlie is my dog, he's a stray we found last year. He's super anti social and "high strung" and has really bad anxiety issues but he's fine with the girls and has never shown any type of aggression towards them. He's crate and house trained, but taking him anywhere is definitely a problem. Anyhow, I took him to the vet yesterday for his yearly shots and check up and omg it was so awful. He pretty much spazed the whole time and had to be muzzled. But we got through it and I will just have to work harder at socializing him this year, although the vet said he may never be completely okay with strangers ect. Anyhow, I don't know what kind of dog he is, and the vet even asked me what he was, because he's kind of a weird looking dog.

When we first got him, he looked like a fox, but he's filled out and grown a fair amount since then so now he's about 24 pounds and maybe 14-16 inches tall. Any thoughts?

Happy Halloween!

The Girls!Collapse )

Suckily, my street (which consists of about seven houses all together) has had no trick or treaters.  My neighbors are all older (retired) and none of them even have their lights on.  This has been pretty disappointing.    My hubby and my mom took Kerra around the block and she did okay, but I really wish we had got some kids!  Next year we will have to plan something.

So today I put in an offer on this house.  All by myself, just like a grown up.  I'm pretty excited about it, and I hope the offer is either accepted, or the counter offer is still within my budget.  It's a three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, with a two car garage and a fenced yard (important for the dog and children)  The school district is crappy, but I can open enroll the girls in a really nice school, just down the road.  I'll keep you posted!
